Melgar-Caro Medcenter and Community Research (MCMCR) is a dedicated clinical research center with a primary focus on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). We integrate experienced physician leadership, robust research infrastructure, and community-centered engagement to support the successful conduct of high-quality clinical trials.
With over 15 years of combined clinical and research experience, our leadership team delivers reliable and well-organized trial execution through standardized operational processes, trained research staff, and close collaboration with sponsors and CROs.
Our Alzheimer’s Disease Research Program is led by Dr. Rinaldo Caro and Dr. Fernando Melgar, Principal Investigators with extensive experience across outpatient, inpatient, emergency medicine, and clinical research settings. Under their leadership, MCMCR is an active member site of the Alzheimer’s Clinical Trial Consortium (ACTC), contributing to innovative, multi-center Alzheimer’s disease trials.
We specialize in interventional Alzheimer’s disease studies, including trials involving disease-modifying therapies, biomarker-driven protocols, and infusion-based treatments, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and participant engagement.
At MCMCR, our mission is to advance Alzheimer’s disease research while delivering compassionate, professional care to the communities we serve.
